Directing a Blockbuster
DIRECTORS, as mentioned before, have a lot of responsibility. They essentially act as the moderator of their own movie/theater project. If you decide to take on the role of being a director (either for your muse or for yourself), know that there is a creed you have to follow. You must rate your movies, organize your movie, and have no secrets with your co-actors. You must fully cooperate and lead your group--encourage them to post and tell them exactly what you want to see out of each post. Directors have the power to lower word count, change the style of the movie thread, and add or remove characters as they wish. Their sole role is to have the movie start and end. There are a lot of things directors can do with their movie when it comes to organization. They can make it a TV series, and break it up to numerous of threads, or have it in one long thread. Whatever it is they desire when it comes to board organization, they should talk to moderators so that boards can be created, moved, or deleted accordingly. Plays and movies can be parodies or original ideas. Directors can change any aspect of any existing movie, tv show, alternate universe, or book. We encourage that the parodies have a spin of originality. If directors feel the need to strictly go by an alternate universe that is already existing, make sure to inform readers that there will be spoilers. Directors can only direct one movie/play at a time on the board. However, you as the mun are free to come up with as many storyboards as long as it is not executed by the same character that is presently directing a movie. You are also allowed to rp more than one director, but take note that it can be very time consuming if you choose to do so. Please be courteous to your actors, and know the fundamentals of leadership to ensure a smooth sailing of the movie project. If you need to take a hiatus, be open to questions during your hiatus and some micro-managing. Be sure to appoint someone to replace you during your absence. Now, let us move on to the players of the stage. |
